A day in library!!

Sitting the whole day in library when there is no work at workplace and grab one of those Robbin sharma's books on wisdom, started gazing on the activities of the people who came into the library. This is not to hurt any technical minds who are struggling to reach the epitome of this corporate world. I sure understand it's a technical workplace and people have to be equipped with technical know-how but it's so saddening to notice not one soul is bothered about the real life and actually equipping them about Life as a whole. There are people from all walks of life from fresh-bait to a delivery manager walking into the library and there is one corner of the library that is untouched by everyone. It is the corner of library that has books of great people who teach great values of life, these are books about  relationship, family, values, growing children, lifeskills. While there is the rest of the library that is filled with C,C++, Java, COBOL and name any technology we can find a book on it. The entire crowd that gets into the library is by default pushed into this space like a swarm of flies wanting to grab these technical Bible's and dump them into thier brains for reason I'm sure they don't know themselves. On the other side I see a bunch of tuggles(just like muggles in Harry Potter, I named tuggles for technical people) sitting and mugging a set of technical questions so as to go and vomit it to score high marks for their next appraisal. This pattern has been a habit that has developed in all of us to read and spout in exams right from the days when we learned ABCD. Reading and equipping technical knowledge is not a crime, but it is disheartening to see that people do it without knowing what it would give them in life, whilst the great minds, and values needed for a life are sitting untouched in the shelves.

Little beats

Sitting by the porch reading a book of one of your favorite authors, the climate being  frigid though it is one of those hot seasons of the year felt blessed, well not just for the climate but for reasons that can be felt only being a girl. Just like me I am sure every woman would have whined being born a girl at least once in lifetime. But it is the realisation that dawned me this evening which made this perspective of being born a girl changed in me. The realisation of having the ability to create life in this world is a pure bliss. The realisation that we women can give form and life by giving our blood and soul to someone in this Earth makes me feel blessed. The first time when I could hear heart beat within me that's not mine, and every single time I feel little swirling movements within me I know I am a protector of this being, today until the last day just like how my protector, my mother has been to me.

Reverie

It was the chirping of a Koel, the sweet melancholy of that little dark creature that brought me to my senses of the present. Driving by the seashore, sitting beside my life, engrossed into the magical forest that has a lot of pleasant surprises called “my life”, Little did I forget my current being. Drowned into thoughts, thoughts some of which are memories of days that passed and some of which are creations of the days that lay ahead. Few that were like bitter guard and a few that were as sweet and charming as the little creature that woke me up to the present. With so much to think and ponder and so much to imagine, I cursed the Koel for waking me up. Sometimes or almost every time, these thoughts take me to a magical land of hopes and brings my “new me” in front of my eyes. I get the satisfaction of living my dreams in my dream.

You or your's - possessivity

Possessiveness, is a word that is being used easily within any relationship these days. Well what is possessiveness? between any two relationships this word is being footballed and used as a scape goat for any state of affairs. Nothing wrong in being possessive in a relationship.. But it is the very question of what one is possessive about the other. Is it possessiveness about the person itself or possessiveness of the things that he possess. Being possessive of the person standing opposite in a relationship is far more strong like a swirling wind, in that case the presence or absence of that person will never change the possessiveness being felt, but being possessive about the things the opposite person possess is superficial. It could anytime vanish just like the things in itself. People fight so fiercely in relationships, when they don't get what is expected from the other person, and they claim it out of possessiveness the war is fought. But if it's really possessiveness of just the person and not the things they possess then as long as the persons presence is felt there is no need to fight. But in most cases the fight is because the other person is not able to satisfy the superficial needs. So is the superficial things a manifestation of true possessiveness of the person we love... Thought to ponder....

More thoughts on my learning

The biggest takeaway for me on NLP was think in the Desired state, Can we think only about what we want all the time, yes we do have the pow...
